The college encourages students to participate in activities outside classroom through various clubs that they form collectively. Club members spend time in activities of mutual interest. Some of the clubs includes-
The main objective of the group is to provide the students the knowledge of computer hardware, the processors, memories, motherboards, different add-on cards, and other peripherals like printers, plotters and the scanners. The students are trained for the assembly and disassembly of PCs. Another important objective is to impart knowledge about the troubleshooting and fault finding the computers and the peripherals.
Main objective of this group is to teach the concepts of fundamentals of computer software and develop projects. These clubs enable the students to learn designing website, photo editing, Logo design by using Corel Draw, Photoshop etc. Students also can learn how to build Android Applications using Software. This group also helps to understand the basic terminology used in computer programming by using different data types in a computer program. Students can also design programs involving decision structures, loops and functions.
LANGUAGE & PROJECT MANAGEMENT CLUB
This group helps to understand theories, methods and technologies applied for professional software development. Moreover the students understand the process to be followed in the software development life cycle. Another important objective of the club is to impart knowledge on graphic applications and also to work with Numerical Analysis. This also helps to understand the various steps in designing a creative and dynamic website. The nature of programming language is emphasized in the wide variety of examples and applications. This club enables the students to learn and acquire art of computer programming and to know about some popular programming languages like Python, Java, PHP etc. and how to choose programming languages for solving problems.
The members of the club are focused on innovative coding practices and also participate regularly in ‘Hackathons’ and other competitions that are focused on design and coding practices.
The purpose of the club is to spread information about internet of things and carry out projects in the area of IOT. The club has a lab that include various IOT kits comprising of Arduino and Raspberry Pi boards.
