Global Institute of Technology & Management has a
fleet of air-conditioned buses providing transportation facilities from different parts of Delhi, Gurgaon & NCR.
Sports & Recreational Facilities
The Institute hosts various indoor and outdoor games for all round development of the students. Each hostel is enriched
with a common room for all sorts of indoor games like table tennis, carom – board, chess and yoga. The Institute has a
large playground where outdoor activities are carried out under the guidance of our sports club. The Sports club of the
institute conducts various indoor and outdoor activities to maintain physical fitness of the students. Annual Sports Events
are organized
Hostel
The Global Institute provides a home away from home in terms of its hostel accommodation for both boys and girls. The
hostel is equipped with all necessary facilities such as Common room, medical room, audio-visual room, Wi-fi connectivity and mess facility. There is a choice between A/c and non A/c Rooms for the students.
The hostel committee ensures well balanced and healthy meals which are prepared in hygienic conditions and are both nutritious and delicious.
Application for seats in hostels should be submitted in the prescribed form. The allotment of accommodation to the boys and girls in the hostel will be made subject to the availability of seats in the hostels.
Gym
A modern Gym with high class equipment is also provided in the hostel, where students can get rejuvenated and keep themselves healthy and fit.
Canteen
The canteen has been well planned and laid out to provide food and refreshments at reasonable rates. The food quality is monitored regularly by a special committee. Eatables are provided at reasonable rates.
Water and Electricity
Global Institute has a complete in house facility to provide its students and staff with uninterrupted water and electricity supply round the clock. High powered back up is also available in case of power failure for both institute and hostels. All floors of the college as well as hostel are fitted with RO system to provide safe and clean drinking water.
Administration Office
The administration building has Wi-Fi for better and fast interaction with the university & AICTE.A friendly administration is in place for helping the students and parents.
Training & Placement Cell:
The College has a Training & Placement Cell with an objective to help students for pursuing their career goals by acquiring employment – seeking skills and thus to attain desired employment.
The cell is functioning on the following lines:
- Assist students to develop their academic and professional interests through counseling and group discussion.
- Assist students to develop and implement successful job search strategies.
- Enable students to inculcate career decision- making skills.
- Provide resources and activity platform to facilitate the career planning process.
- Create awareness among students regarding job avenues and basic requirement.
- Act as a link between student and employment community.
- Conduct personality development program.
- Coordinate seminars and conferences to enhance students’ communication and soft skills and thus develop their personality.
Merit Scholarships
In order to generate competitive spirit among the students, the institute provides merit scholarships to meritorious students securing positions at the Institute level and the University level. In conformity with AICTE policy, the institute provides tuition fee waiver up to 10% of its sanctioned intake to women, economically backward and physically handicapped meritorious students. A topper of each branch is awarded Sir M. Vishvesvariya scholarship up to Rs.40,000/- per year or actual tuition fee whichever is less.
Grievance Redressal Cell
The main objective of the cell is to look into the genuine grievance, if any, of the students and address the same to their entire satisfaction. Suggestion boxes are kept for this purpose at various locations
Medical Facility
Students at GLOBAL are our valuable possession and we make sincere efforts to ensure that they are physically fit and healthy. Every care is taken to provide medical facility and first-aid treatment..
Education Loan
Punjab National Bank, Oriental Bank of Commerce, State Bank of India and many other banks provide the loan facility to students for their higher education.
Value-Added Education
In order to groom the students to be all rounder, the institute offers a platform to the students to display their latent talents through multi-dimensional activities
Cultural activities are carried out by the cultural club of the institute at required intervals without
affecting academic programmes. Students are encouraged and provided necessary guidance and facilities to develop &
display their talents.
The Institute hires the services of various agencies to conduct seminars and conferences for Personality
& Soft Skills Development at regular intervals.
The Institute organizes educational & industrial trips to upgrade and enhance technical knowledge & provide industrial exposure to the students to keep them abreast of the latest development in technical
area.
The Eco-Club organizes activities with the sole aim to provide eco-friendly and academically conducive environment on
the campus.
Under Community Development program various activities such as blood donation camp, tree plantation are organized from time to time.
